Does SuperOffice CRM support integration with Office 365 and how do I start using it?
Office 365 is the brand name Microsoft uses for a group of software and services subscriptions. Some of the Office 365 software and service offers can be integrated with SuperOffice CRM. Below are the most popular Office 365 subscriptions*:
Office desktop applications: Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Outlook etc. installed on your desktop.
Office mobile applications: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint installed on your mobile devices.
Online/locally hosted Microsoft Exchange: Email service.
Below you'll find an explanation on how each of the described Office 365 subscriptions can be integrated with SuperOffice CRM.
Office desktop applications
Office desktop applications can be integrated with both SuperOffice CRM Online and Onsite. It allows you to:
- Create, edit, and save Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents. Create and send emails using Outlook directly from SuperOffice CRM in addition to archiving emails from Outlook to SuperOffice CRM. - Synchronize appointments, tasks, and contacts between Outlook and SuperOffice CRM. To get this functionality you need to install one of SuperOffice partner's InfoBridge synchronization solutions. Learn more about synchronization options here.
Note! You should make sure that your SuperOffice version is compatible with the Microsoft Office version you want to use. Check this article for more information.
Office mobile applications
Office mobile applications can be integrated with both SuperOffice CRM Online and Onsite via the SuperOffice mobile application - Pocket CRM. It allows you to create, edit, and save Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents. You can also create and send emails using your Office 365 email account in Pocket CRM. File storage and sharing online and Office Online Apps
Office Online Apps and documents stored in Office 365 cloud can be integrated with SuperOffice CRM Online via the apps. To be able to store your documents online you need to install the Office 365 Integration app from SuperOffice App Store. To be able to archive e-mails from Outlook web application to SuperOffice CRM, you need to install an add-in SuperOffice for Outlook.
Note! The Office 365 integration app is not supported by the SuperOffice CRM Onsite solution.
Online/locally hosted Microsoft Exchange
You can integrate your email accounts with the SuperOffice Inbox and the Service module.
