What to do when I get an error message "SMTP connection does not exist" while sending a privacy confirmation e-mail?

What to do when I get an error message:

Something went wrong when sending e-mail consent management email: smtp connection does not exist 

while sending a Privacy Confirmation Mail?

This error message shows that SMTP settings are not set up correctly in your SuperOffice CRM solution. To send out privacy e-mails, SuperOffice uses your SMTP as configured in the Mailing or Service sections.

 

SMTP setup in Mailing

To learn how to set up SMTP settings for Mailing, follow the steps below:

  1. Click on the Mailing button in the Navigator, then the Settings button in the Mailing screen.


     
  2. Enter the necessary details of a SMTP server and click OK.

Note! SuperOffice Online already comes with SMTP set up.

 

SMTP setup in Service

To learn how to set up SMTP settings for Service, please follow the steps below:

  1. Click on  and select System from the service settings list.


     
  2. Click SMTP tab, enter necessary details of SMTP server and click OK.
